My life with whippets began in 2001.  After losing our 14 year old mixed rescue to a brain tumor, we decided to try the purebred route.  I researched many breeds, and after whittling the list down to three, visited the breeders and met with the dogs.  It became quickly apparent that whippets were the breed for our active family.  Watching them perform in straight racing really sealed the deal!!

Mid-Atlantic Whippet Racing Association (MAWRA)
C.H.A.M.P. Lure Coursing Club  

I was the MAWRA Treasurer for two years.  I was the local chair for the AWC National Specialty in 2014, and the local chair again in 2018. I am now the Regional Director for ASFA Region 8.

I pull Hunt Master duties at our lure coursing. I have also been Field Trial Chair for AKC Lure Coursing.

I also own Follow Your Lead . I have been in the business since 2007 and make dog coats, collars, belly bands, racing/coursing jackets, and much more.
